Just found a not-too-bad and hopefully it’s more than temporary: Remedy for body ache!
I don’t know if the body-ache is due to being sick? Or not having to sleep properly? Or too much computer? Or too much improper sitting posture? Or maybe combinations of everything, but my remedy is:
SLEEP ON THE FLOOR!
Well I have slept on the floor or many years while I was much younger or when I was visiting relatives in Indonesia, but I always slept on thick mattresses that didn’t felt like I was sleeping on the floor. But hey, with just my yoga mat and a sleeping bag, I didn’t feel anymore aches (which I had for the past few months).. But why yoga mat and sleeping bag? Firstly it’s winter and cold air does not travel upwards, plus sleeping ON the floor is actually really quite painful where your skin is the thinnest (aka hip bones and shoulder bones).. so having some cushion in between that’s not too thick nor too thin, is not that bad, although there are still some pain on those thin-skinned areas eventually after 1-2 hours of sleeping in the same position..
But nevertheless, I woke up without any pain on my back and shoulders..
BUT!!! I do believe that sleeping on the floor may not be suitable for everyone. I THINK pregnant ladies shouldn’t since it’s more daunting on your back where there’s no support to hold those spine arches, people who always had bad aches probably should try to and I really don’t know who else, but technology is growing, I’m sure you’ll be able to find some answers or suggestions on the Internet. Or call your doctor!
